Membership Documents
Annual General Meeting
The AGM took place on Wednesday 26 May. Details of the 2011 AGM will be announced here and invitations will be sent to members in April 2011.
The Society’s Articles of Association
The Articles specify the governance arrangements for MGM and carry the force of the Companies Act. The Articles may only be amended with the specific approval of MGM’s members.

The Annotated Combined Code for Mutuals
This Code, which is endorsed by HM Treasury, sets out corporate governance standards for mutual insurers, such as MGM. Although it is not mandatory, it operates on a “comply or explain” basis and so any material failure to comply has to be reported in the annual Report & Accounts. MGM complies with the Code in all material respects.

The Principles and Practices of Financial Management (PPFM)
The PPFM, the content of which is prescribed by the Financial Services Authority, sets out the rules and practices by which MGM will manage its with-profits funds. There is also a simplified “customer friendly” version.
